Colliding Emotions, by Mark Tulin

“Can I be honest? When I’m with you, it’s the worst place in the world. You’re a controlling man and obsessed with money. All my life, you didn't care about me. I wish you were more of a friend than a critic. And on top of everything, you have the gall to say that our fascist president is not such a bad person. Sometimes, I don’t know whether to love or hate you.”
Dom looked away from the mirror and finished getting dressed. He often talked to his reflection when he had angry thoughts about his deceased father.
