Audio Poem: Grandma Played Bingo with Four Cards, by Mark Tulin

Much thanks to Page Barnes at The Haven for publishing Grandma Played Bingo with Four Cards. Thank you to my followers for your comments. One recent comment was made by a Medium friend, Mike. Mike writes “Mark, thanks for the Grandma Bingo poem. The more I ponder it the more I feel liberated from my self imposed restrictions. I might wet myself while sitting in my Medium clunker that unpredictably starts and stops. But I realize it’s now or never thanks to grandma.” Thanks also to Clker-Free-Vector-Images at Pixabay for the Betty Boop image. Either click Spotify play or the three dots to listen to my podcast.

I am an author, poet, humorist, and short story writer from Palm Springs, California. I write about various topics, from my early childhood in Philadelphia to my years as a family therapist and finally to my soul-searching in California. These are poetic narratives that may have humorous or serious content or both. Either way, I hope my poetry and stories resonate with you.

  1. Congratulations your publication, Mark! I enjoyed your poem very much. It brought to mind similar grandmas who played bingo with four (or more!) cards in the Legion Hall in Enosburg.
