Poem: Banister Of Swirling Colors by Mark Tulin

I wish I could
slide down the sky
on a banister
of swirling colors
and land on my rump
of giddiness

and as a child
full of imagination,
climb back up
on a ski lift of exhilaration

ascending the universe’s
palette of changing hues,
a Van Gogh creation
of blue, grey, and gold.
