Audio Story/Podcast: My Mother’s Great Escape, by Mark Tulin @Eclipse Lit

I want to give a shout out to Jenna Faccenda and her staff at Eclipse Lit. They raise money from the profits of Eclipse Lit Magazine and donate to various causes. To quote: OUR MISSION IS TO GIVE AN OUTLET FOR WRITERS TO HEAL THROUGH ART WHILE BENEFITING ORGANIZATIONS DEDICATED TO HELPING PEOPLE WITH TRAUMA. The first issue was on the theme of sorrow, and suicide prevention in particular. Please support this great organization by purchasing a copy at www.eclipselit.org. Enjoy my fictional story included in issue 1, “Mother’s Great Escape.” If the podcast is not up from Spotify yet, please return in a few minutes.

I am an author, poet, humorist, and short story writer from Palm Springs, California. I write about various topics, from my early childhood in Philadelphia to my years as a family therapist and finally to my soul-searching in California. These are poetic narratives that may have humorous or serious content or both. Either way, I hope my poetry and stories resonate with you.
