Unpleasant Roommates, by Mark Tulin
10/7/2020

For over thirty years, they were unpleasant roommates. After a while, they began to think and talk in distorted ways, never reflecting the accuracy of a situation, gravitating toward false information.

They bonded on their dislike of humanity—how cruel and unfair people were.

They both came from repressive families who never allowed them to express anger.

During elections, they voted for the most unqualified person on the ballot, hoping for a troubled economy and bleak future. They were the happiest when their country was in a state of turmoil, and most comfortable when the world seemed hopelessly divided.

People like your two roommates do exist, making life miserable for us all.

Wow, unpleasant is an understatement, I kinda wish instead of “roommates,” this was “cellmates.”

Ouch! That’s not how we as the “World” should live. It’s too true these days though.
