Poem: Breathe in and Sigh by Mark Tulin

Sometimes I wake up in the middle
of the night

to make sure you are still there

my angel, my rock,
my road back to salvation

I can’t believe you found me
so many miles away,
sad stories and battles
left me with a body full of scars
for you to heal

I breathe in and sigh,
remembering where I was
and knowing where I am today.

Very beautifully written and intense, Mark. We are all the landscapes of our scars as this forms part of living. Love and be loved, yea!
