Poetry, Humor, Stories from the Crow’s World of Zen

I’m somewhat Buddhist, like I’m somewhat of a vegan. I’ve always been somewhat with everything—careful not to lose myself in the whole thing. I think I like to talk about Zen Buddhism rather than engage in it, although I meditate each night, and I’m a fan of Thich Nhat Hanh. Here are some of my Crow-Zen poems, humor, and stories on my way to nirvana, or at least to another aspect of my awakening.
Links to some of my Zen poems:
- The meaning of being a warrior in Wounds.
- The Zen of transparency in Invisibly.
- Patience is not so bad in Patience with Grace.
- A tribute to the late Thich Nhat Hanh in If Only I Were Mindful.
- Seeking nirvana in My Inner Bodhisattva.
Two Crow-Zen stories:
- Finding peace in the mountain, The Mountain Spirit.
- Being mindful of words in The Silence of Honey.
Crow-Zen humor:
- Monks are getting physical in Monk Too Whiny for Monastery.
- Mom versus the Universe in this 100-word story, The Tao.
