Poem: Eyes of the Moon by Mark Tulin/Letterpile.com

Eyes of the Moon is about a heartbroken teenager. Perhaps the worst time to suffer a broken heart, given all the challenges that a teen has. Photo by Mark Tulin.

“Maybe I wasn’t good enough,
or too short. Perhaps my acne
was too slow to clear up.
I kept thinking that
I was never going to have good luck
with the women I chose”–Except from Eyes of the Moon.
