Bonnie knew she needed to leave her parents and her small provincial town in the mountains. She feared ending up like her parents; although both were kind and loving, they prevented her from finding her true self. It was always what mom wanted and what dad thought was best. They forever told her how to live and with whom to associate.

Bonnie promised herself she would never be like them. She did everything to avoid it, spent years away at college, moved 3,000 miles from home to Boston, but, sadly, she married her father and turned into a doting mother.
