Humor: Aunt Mary’s After Funeral Dinner by Mark Tulin/Spank the Carp

Many thanks to Spank the Carp for publishing Aunt Mary’s After Funeral Dinner. Featured image by Mark Tulin.

"We were at Aunt Zelda’s house following the funeral. Her cat, Bebe, was under the table waiting for a few morsels to be dropped to the floor—as everyone stuffed their faces with deli foods that remotely tasted of death. My Aunt Mary had died, the funeral was boring, and I was starved. I loved Aunt Mary, but the lunch after the funeral was the most comforting part of the ceremony."
