I am an author, poet, humorist, and short story writer living in Long Beach, California. I write about various topics, from my early childhood in Philadelphia to my years as a family therapist and finally to my soul-searching in California.     As soon as my mother learned about the carcinogenic properties of hot dogs, she went on an anti-hot dog crusade. Bologna drew her ire as well.
