First, a big shoutout to a fine online publication of poetry–Scrittura, for publishing Chumash Dreams. The Chumash tribe in Central California has been on my mind ever since I experienced the San Ynez Mountains in Santa Barbara a few years ago. I’ve written short stories and poetry about them.
