Listed as one of the top poems of the month by Scrittura.

Author, poet, short story writer from Santa Barbara, California. I write about a variety of topics, from my early childhood in Philadelphia, to my years as a family therapist, and finally to my soul-searching present in California. These are narratives that may have a humorous or serious content or both. Either way, I hope my poetry and stories resonate with you.

  1. Congratulations, Mark! I love, love, love this poem–so much so that I’ve saved it in my “Poems Too Good Not to Share” folder AND emailed it just now to two groups of faculty colleagues.

  2. Almost forgot–shared on Twitter and Facebook!

  3. Thought-provoking poem. I enjoyed reading it today. Congratulations.

  4. Reblogged this on The Reluctant Poet and commented:
    Come and Enjoy!

  5. Hi, Mark. The writing faculty I shared your poem with loved your poem, and one has asked if it is all right to share with students. Of course, I said yes!!

  6. As beautiful as one of the Psalms in the Old Testament. Very well put.
