The Story of Two, by Mark Tulin
10/4/2020

Tony and Tina lived a strange but happy life. They married on February 2, had two homes, one in the city, and the other a summer home in the Hamptons.

They raised two children, had two cars, two sets of friends, only attended two years of college, and slept with two King pillows in twin beds.

They were married three times to each other, fell out of love every two years, then remarried.

They didn’t know why they bought only two rolls of toilet paper at a time, but they knew in their hearts that they didn’t want to change.

I like this very much, in a sad kind of way.

Sounds like they’ve been unknowingly self-isolating as a couple. What emptiness!
