Bobby's Blankie and Thumb, by Mark Tulin
21/6/2019

Little Bobby liked to roll on the thick green carpet in the living room. He always had a bottle of tasty formula in his mouth and didn’t want anyone to disturb him when he was feeding.

Once he finished, he’d get sleepy, curl up with his blankie, put a thumb in his mouth, and dream about odd shapes, colors, and simple things that only babies dream about when they feel safe and loved.

But if you wake up Little Bobby too soon or tell him to stop sucking his thumb, he’d cry, scream, and see you as the worst monster.
