god. This is heart-wrenchingly beautiful. I felt it stronger, smelled the salty air, heard the cry of the gulls, felt Rosemary’s bony shoulder beneath my palm. Lovely write. I am nearly speechless and quite affected: thank you.

This is very very close to home for me. As a blind woman I related so much to the ending part where the story talks about the blind woman and it being strength. Sorry, not expressing myself very well! But oh, the feelings of Rosemary wanting to be pushed into the sea in her wheelchair. Many has been the time I have wanted to be deposited by the river’s edge. The big, deep river. Of coyrse I would not want to involve anyone else in that, but some days my feelings with my particular disabilities that make me helpless overcome me. But this is not something that I normally talk about. This is a very very brave story. It is something I would LIKE to talk about but do not. The story is powerful. Thankyou Mark for directing us tomit.
