I am an author, poet, humorist, and short story writer from Palm Springs, California. I write about various topics, from my early childhood in Philadelphia to my years as a family therapist and finally to my soul-searching in California. These are poetic narratives that may have humorous or serious content or both. Either way, I hope my poetry and stories resonate with you.

  1. Excellent! That was funny and also very poignant.

  2. Bless her heart, Mark. A lovely poem. I am sure she is chuckling wherever she is.

  3. My mother was the opposite – when she bemoaned her lack of talents in other directions we would say ‘but you are a good cook.’ We always had home made cake and she made Dad a rich fruitcake every week.

    • It’s a shame your mom minimized her cooking talents. Anyone who could make a good fruitcake is worthy of my praise! Thanks, Janet.

  4. No doubt wonderful memories!

  5. Amazingly well written!! So funny and not crude.

  6. Awwww. This is so sweet. Love hearing You read Your work. Cheers! πŸ™‚
