Poem: Yellow Flower by Mark Tulin

I see you in a yellow flower
growing from the fertile soil
soft as a hibiscus petal
as delicate as a stem
blooming at just the right moment
awakening a beauty within

I see you in a yellow flower
the smile of a universe
cooling as a summer rain
vibrant as the morning sun
fragrant as a first love
sleepy under a crescent moon.
