Poem: Heart-Shaped Crack by Mark Tulin

 

A heart-shaped crack

only comes out

when I bend over

I never see it

but others do

Intriguing some,

grossing out others

It’s just there

unbeknownst to me

A sight

people look at

but would rather not see.
