The Poem by Mark Tulin

The poem

lures me

through

a narrow

uncertain path.

As I walk

the corridor,

my mind

unravels

like a lotus

blooming

at midnight.

A small

window

of opportunity

surprises me,

opening up

in fragrant

and colorful

petals,

only for a second

then it fades.

That’s why practicing mindfulness is so important.

Absolutely… I watched a Ted talk earlier and even with scientific research methodology they are now able to show how mindfulness is so critical to lessen anxiety and increase efficiency… basically how to maintain the better part of oneself even in the most dire of times..
