Poetry Link: I Only Want People to Look at Me

https://www.elephantjournal.com/2017/09/i-only-want-people-to-look-at-me/

I am an author, poet, humorist, and short story writer from Palm Springs, California. I write about various topics, from my early childhood in Philadelphia to my years as a family therapist and finally to my soul-searching in California. These are poetic narratives that may have humorous or serious content or both. Either way, I hope my poetry and stories resonate with you.

  1. I’m so glad I took the time to read this poem, Mark. You touched my soul as you touched that poor man. I wish there were more people like you in the world. Maybe we wouldn’t have this problem. To reach out and say hello is sometimes not enough, but it can make a difference to a life. And isn’t that what we’re suppose to do in this journey of life? Thank you for pointing that out, Mark and bringing it to the public’s eye.
