I particularly like “Light of an Early Son” because it reminds me of my son-in-law, who still surfs in his ’40s, while his friends gave it up after high school.
Yes, he does. When my husband and I go out to San Diego to visit, he takes us to the beach to watch him surf. We identify him among the other surfers in the distance because he’s the only one with a bald head.
