I am an author, poet, humorist, and short story writer from Palm Springs, California. These are poetic narratives that may have humorous or serious content or both. Either way, I hope my poetry and stories resonate with you.

  1. Nice! I see you have a great relationship with your mother in law.

    • Very fortune. She’s my second one ( second marriage) and a super sweet woman. My first one, I definitely wouldn’t write a poem about. Have a peacefully rest of the day. πŸ™πŸ»

I know…Mom…I hear them and see them in my heart as they dance to your favorite music. Thank you for instilling that love of music in me as I grew up. I love always, but especially for this beautiful gift!

Oh good…I can leave you a reply…I had to, you know! Thanks to my dear Mom, I have that same love of music as she does. It carries her through some tough times and helps her to remember all the wonderful memories that she has. Mom shares her memories all the time with us. Your poem touched me so much! I just wished I had read this poem at home so I could enjoy the emotion it invoked in me.

You’re such a blessing to my family, Mark. Thank you for clearly invoking my Mom’s love of music!

    • And I know that you’re a gifted guitarist and singer, Theresa. I would have liked to have heard you when you were really into it. 🎼
