The Three Parts of Me – Visual Verse
— Read on visualverse.org/submissions/the-three-parts-of-me/
THE THREE PARTS OF ME, by Mark Tulin I balance my health and sanity in equal parts, trying to maintain harmony With the color orange, I live in the sunshine, with a pale blue covering, a pastel to shade my existence I'm not sure what holds me up That is the troubling part I don't know if I'm buttressed by the past, my family loyalty, or some vague idea that came to me in a previous life, or a dream All I know is, I'm maintaining an equilibrium, some semblance of peace, however teetering, the three parts of me are still in place, and not yet fallen.
Thank you for introducing me to Visual Verse. I enjoyed this very much.
You’re welcome, Anne.
Reblogged this on The Reluctant Poet.
Well written. As a Libra, I can appreciate the finding of true balance.
