Spinal Cloud, a Poem by Mark Tulin

I form my clouds
like a child
using an Etch A Sketch
of love and curiosity.
.
My magical mind
draws the clouds in the sky
with the tips of fingers
and the voice of my soul.

I build my clouds
until it forms a spine
that extends high
above the celestial sky.

Like an artist,
I arrange my clouds
like a fluffy dream,
seeing the world
from the inside out,
reflecting the miracles
within.
