Check out my story The Telephone Booth by Mark Tulin and other amazing stories that mix genres and test limits.

Freelance writer, poet, yogi and photographer from Santa Barbara, California. I write and take pictures about a variety of topics, from my early childhood in Philadelphia, to my years as a family therapist, and finally to my soul-searching years in California. The things that move me may have a humorous or serious content or both. Either way, I hope my poetry, pictures and stories resonate with you.

  1. A very suspenseful ending!

  2. A gripping tale. Well developed. Alan has just cause to be terrified of his future.

  3. The ending took me by surprise–but upon reflection, it was fitting. Such fear and uncertainty in that situation, on both ends of the telephone.

  4. Haunting and beautifully written.

  5. Oh, man…that’s no fair! You left it a cliffhanger. What happed to them? Why did Sara hang up? Did he ever go back and find out? How heartbreaking!
