Flash Fiction Link: The Mallards by Mark Tulin

My son rarely listened to me. My in-laws thought he needed to see a psychologist, but he does well in school, and the teachers haven’t complained yet.

An excerpt from The Mallards on Flash Fiction Friday.

I am an author, poet, humorist, and short story writer from Palm Springs, California. I write about various topics, from my early childhood in Philadelphia to my years as a family therapist and finally to my soul-searching in California. These are poetic narratives that may have humorous or serious content or both. Either way, I hope my poetry and stories resonate with you.

  1. Well Mark, there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with your son. He loves birds and is adventurous. He learnt his lesson and that his Dad was right. 😊 . Needles…..that is what you
    should have said. Grin.
